After successive promotions that took Watford from the third tier to the top flight, the Premier League proved to be a step too far in 1999/2000. The club brought in a number of new faces, including Nordin Wooter, Des Lyttle and Dominic Foley, but they weren’t able to help steer the Hornets to safety in what was their first top flight season since 1987/88.
Victory over Liverpool courtesy of a Tommy Mooney goal at Anfield, together with an Allan Smart winner at home against Chelsea, provided some early season joy, but despite the best efforts of a determined team, points ultimately proved too hard to come by, meaning end of season relegation.
The season marked the arrival of Watford legend Heidar Helguson from Icelandic club Lillestrom. Helguson went on to make 197 appearances over two spells for the club, scoring 65 goals in the process.

In-store purchases cannot be returned via post and any requests for refunds or exchanges will be rejected.

Faulty/Damaged Items
