Watford FC is proud to unveil a very special kit, for a very special fan.
The kit – available to pre-order now - marks the start of our celebrations as we approach the 50th anniversary of Elton John becoming Chairman of his boyhood club in 1976.
Our beloved Honorary Life President has been heavily involved in the design of this unique collectors’ item, which is inspired by his Diamonds album artwork.
Elton cheered Watford on from the terraces from the age of six – when we still played in blue.
In true fairytale fashion, he went on to mastermind the club’s rise from the Fourth Division to second place in the top-flight in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
European football and an FA Cup final followed to boot, and it would be fair to say that Elton changed the trajectory and future of the club forever.
The shirt is made from a bespoke polyester knit with a star design sublimation. The Watford crest and Kelme logos are in contrasting silver and on the hem is the ‘Happy Hornet’ badge which was the club crest when Elton became Chairman.
The collar and sleeve cuffs feature more stars - synonymous with Elton’s styling - and on the reverse is an embossed print of one of Elton’s most famous song lyrics, “Your Song”.
Complementing the shirt are silver shorts, again made from bespoke polyester, with E* taping running down both sides.
The silver WFC crest features on the shorts, along with a contrasting Kelme logo.
On-pitch, players’ shirts will feature sponsorship from MrQ, the University of Hertfordshire and KOKA, although once again the shirt will also be available to buy unbranded for those fans who prefer it this way.
The Elton John kit is available from age 7-8 years through to adult 4XL, including a dedicated women's fit up to UK size 18.
All shirts come packaged in a special edition gift box.

RETURNS
Items should be returned to us within 28 days of delivery in their original packaging along with your order confirmation sheet to receive a full refund of the price you paid for the item.
All parcels must be sent to us via recorded delivery at the customer's own charge as we will not accept responsibility for lost goods.
Please include a cover note stating your order number and reason for return.
We do not provide exchanges via post. Any orders returned to us will be refunded to the original account used to pay for the item.

You may also exchange or refund your goods at The Hornets Shop located at Vicarage Road Stadium. Any items bought in-store can be returned at either of our stores at Vicarage Road and Atria Watford. In-store purchases cannot be returned via post and any requests for refunds or exchanges will be rejected.
All items must be returned in a new condition, with original packaging, and within 28 days. You must bring proof of purchase. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the goods returned have been deemed to be damaged, worn or tampered with. This may include, marks, stains and other physical defects along with strong odours prevalent on the shirt including foul smells and cleaning products. This does not affect your statutory rights.
DVDs, CDs, books, magazines, programmes, jewellery, underwear, swimwear, hats and socks purchased through the Online Store are not eligible for return unless deemed faulty.
Faulty/Damaged Items
If your item has arrived faulty, please contact [email protected] or use the dedicated customer messaging service on our website for information regarding a return of the product. If your item was purchased longer than 6 months prior to any damages this will be considered general wear and tear and is not eligible for refunds or exchanges. Please do not resend faulty items back to us at your own charge, as we are unable to reimburse any postage paid at your own cost.
Personalisation
Personalised items are not eligible for return these may only be accepted for return if the personalisation is incorrect or if the item is faulty. Name and Number personalisations are liable to the customer only, if a player leaves the club or changes his number whilst at the club, we are unable to provide a refund or exchange.
